Qualifying as an Industrial Engineer, Yolande began her career as a consultant at Icon Corporation and Accenture Consulting before joining Leaf Wireless as an Analyst and Head of Projects. She then joined FNB as Head of Product Development in 2004 and has been part of the bank ever since.

Yolande is a dynamic individual who has worked in various interesting markets such as Southern Africa, Zambia, Nigeria and India. She is a regular speaker at innovation and banking conferences and has made her appearance on regional TV and radio.

She is currently completing her Masters in Business Administration at UCT Graduate School of Business and sites being an innovator in mobile payments as one of the achievements of which she is most proud. The techno savvy hard worker claims to be married to her cell phone.
